About Us

Maganda Fitness is a unique organization that incorporates the principles of martial arts, not just for physical training, but also for spiritual and mental development. Our organization believes that martial arts is not just about self-defense, but it's also about fostering healing, restoration, freedom, and purpose in oneself. Our classes are designed to cater to individuals of all ages and fitness levels, and our Christian values are woven into our teachings. We aim to provide a unique Christian approach to fitness, where individuals not only train their bodies but also their minds and spirit .

We are committed to making a positive impact in our community, especially in low-income areas. We recognize that women and children, in particular, may not have access to quality fitness programs that can help improve their physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health. As such, we are offering completely free classes to these groups, with a focus on self-defense, confidence-building, and stress management. We believe that by providing these free classes, we can empower women and children in our community to achieve their full potential and break the cycle of generational poverty in spirit, mind and body.

What We Believe

  • We believe in the one true God, as declared in Deuteronomy 6:4, who exists in three persons – the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, as stated in Matthew 28:19 and 2 Corinthians 13:14.

  • We affirm the deity of Jesus Christ, as stated in Isaiah 42:8 and James 2:19, His virgin birth (Isaiah 7:14), sinless humanity (Hebrews 4:15), substitutionary death (1 Peter 3:18), atoning blood (1 John 1:7), bodily resurrection (1 Corinthians 15:4), and ascension to heaven (Luke 24:51).

  • We hold the entire Bible as God’s infallible revelation to man, as stated in 2 Timothy 3:16-17, and the source of truth, morality, and proper conduct.

  • We believe in salvation by grace alone, through faith alone, in Jesus Christ alone, as stated in Ephesians 2:8-9.

  • We affirm that each person has intrinsic worth and dignity as they are created in the image of God, as declared in Genesis 1:26.

  • We believe that human life, from conception to death, has value and is deserving of defense and protection, as stated in Psalm 139:13-16.

  • We believe in the one true Church, the body of Christ, consisting of all believers, as stated in 1 Corinthians 12:12-13.

  • We affirm the resurrection of the body, as stated in 1 Corinthians 15:20-22, and the promise of eternal glory for believers in the new heaven and new earth (Isaiah 65:17, 66:22; 2 Peter 3:13; Revelation 21:1), as well as everlasting punishment for unbelievers in hell (Matthew 25:46).

  • We recognize the importance of obedience to our Lord’s command to lead people of all nations to faith in Christ and to grow in Christ-likeness, as stated in Matthew 28:19-20.

  • We anticipate Christ’s personal return to establish His Kingdom on earth, as stated in Revelation 22:20.

  • We believe in the Holy Spirit’s indwelling and empowering of believers, which is given as a seal and a pledge of our inheritance in Christ Jesus, as stated in Ephesians 1:13-14.

  • We affirm God’s creation of man and woman, as stated in Genesis 1:27, and view marriage as a holy union between a man and a woman, as declared in Matthew 19:4-6.

  • This Statement of Faith is not exhaustive, and we acknowledge the Bible as the final authority and source of our beliefs, as stated in 2 Peter 1:20-21.
